Women Winemaker’s Challenge™

The Women Winemaker’s Challenge is a “competition in a competition” that is open solely to wines made by women. Production winemakers and assistant winemakers are encouraged to enter their wines. The winemaker must be responsible for the final taste of the bottle.

Please Note: The Women Winemaker’s Challenge requires a separate entry fee and submission of bottles of wine. Women winemakers may enter either the Challenge or the Open or both Competitions.

To ensure quality judging the Women Winemaker’s Challenge 2010 is limited to 500 entries. Entries will be closed upon receipt of the 500th entry.

We are limiting entries to ensure that our judges work in an atmosphere that supports quality evaluation and sound results. Our commitment to every entrant is that their wine will be appropriately categorized and well-judged by superstar palates.

By accepting too many entries, we cannot give the wines their due. Quality results are what our competition is all about.

Please consult the Categories page to determine where your wine should be entered. (We reserve the right to recategorize any wine at the discretion of the Head Judge.)

Internet and Printed Results

Medal results for medal winners only will be posted at www.nwwc.info and released to the wine media and industry on or before April 15, 2010. Results will also be mailed to U.S. wine buyers and distributors.
