Welcome to the official web site for the National Women’s Wine Competition™, the flagship competition of Wine Competition Management LLC.
Based on the overwhelming success of the 2007 competition and feedback from the judges, the 2008 competition will be:
- International Entries Welcome
As word of the 2007 competition got out, we received inquiries from eager wineries in every major wine growing region in the world. Although our judges were certainly qualified, we were not prepared to process international wines in our first year.
This year we are, so… let the international wines flow!
- Limited to 2,500 overall entries (2,000 entries for the Open Competition; 500 entries for the Women Winemaker’s Challenge).
We are limiting the number of entries this year to ensure that we create an atmosphere that gives our judges sufficient time to consider the wines. Our promise to every entrant is that their wine will be appropriately categorized and well judged by superstar palates – the leading women in the wine industry.
- Climate Controlled storage. We now have permanent climate controlled storage (55-degrees F) through Sonoma Storage Emporium.
UPDATED - DEADLINES EXTENDED
- Judging Will Be Held March 16-19, 2008.
- Judging is closed to the public.
- Entry Deadline is March 7, 2008.
- Wine Delivery until March 7, 2008.
